If you are interested in transferring your child to another school for the 2008-2009 school year, please review this information from the Knox County Schools website:

Student transfer applications available January 28 - February 22

The regular student transfer period for NEW applicants is January 28 through February 22, 2008 for the 2008/2009 school year. Parent(s)/Legal Guardian(s) are to complete the transfer form at the child's base school and leave it at that school for further processing. Employees may apply at their school building. 

Out of county parents may apply at the school within Knox County that they wish their child to attend.

Project GRAD and magnet applicants may file during this period. Families will be notified by mail in March as to whether the transfer application was approved. 

Those who are on approved transfer for the 2007/2008 school year do not need to re-apply.

You may pick up an application in the WVMS front office.
