Online Payment for Student Cafeteria Meals

Breakfast and Lunch Program
The School Plate Lunch costs $2.25. The Plate Lunch consists of 5 food groups:
Meat/Entrée
Bread
Vegetables
Fruit/Fruit Juice
Milk
To qualify for the Plate Lunch price, at least 3 different food groups must be selected. A homemade dessert (if offered that day) is included as part of the Plate Lunch price.
Additional items offered may be selected. These will be charged an à la carte price.
Other selections (ice cream, bottled water, etc.) are available for an additional charge. Breakfast is served for a cost of $1.25. Items in the West Valley cafeteria meet the state nutritional guidelines for healthy schools.
Online Payment for Student Meals: PayPams
Knox County Schools has implemented a new program called PayPams to provide parents with the option of paying for their students' meals online. This option will be available after September 3, 2007. There will be a processing charge by the company of $1.95 per student, per transaction. However, there is not a limit to the amount of the transaction (monies put in the student's account). Parents who do not wish to use this service may continue to send monies to the WVMS cafeteria for student meals.
